Early Life and Career

As optimistic and creative as he was, K-Blaze loved to share his dreams and ideas of becoming a filmmaker to his peers, and this is what has led to most of his successes today. In 2007 back when he was still in high school, he was skilled in the art of writing stories, and so he would draw comic books and sell them to his peers in school.
In 2010, K-Blaze wrote and directed his first short film, which was called “War: The Bare Knuckles”. He didn’t stop there, later on, the same year (2010) he yet again went further to advance his film and create a remastered version of it, which he called; “War: The Two Thrones” and that day K.B Cinematic was formed. Unfortunately, none of these films made it to mainstream because they were criticized for story inconsistency, and also because the films did not meet the standard of the entertainment industry. In 2016 he began another project on a Movie he called “The Streak”, but due to the lack of adequate finances the movie could not pull through. In 2017 K-Blaze shot another movie called “Tormented” but it couldn’t pull through because K-Blaze and his partners could not come to an agreement.
Later the same year (2017), K-Blaze shifted his desires from shooting film to shooting music videos amongst the music videos were; “Kumbuyo” by Icool featuring Kekero, “That’s How You Make Me Feel ” by Yang Raka featuring Frenchild, “Cry from Hell” by Yellow Dove featuring Sampa and many more.
Fast-forward in 2018, K-Blaze’s journey as a Music Video Director advanced as he partnered with ERT and they formed E.K Filmz. The first-ever music video shot by K-Blaze and ERT was “Mapinda” by Bolokiyo and they also directed “Contolola” by Roberto featuring Patoranking, and they have continued to work together until today.

Over the years, K-Blaze has shot and directed several popular Zambian music videos for various award-winning or prominent artistes such as Roberto, Macky 2, Jae Cash, Cleo Ice Queen, Slap Dee, among others.
